About AMC

Adelaide Men’s Convention is an annual day of blessing, encouragement and equipping through the exegetical preaching of God's Word. Our desire is to help men in particular grow strong in the Lord Jesus Christ in order that they go on to exercise God-honouring leadership and service in family, church, work and community and be ambitious to win men for Christ.

AMC 2024 will include Bible Talks from Al Stewart, author of The Manual, Electives, the encouraging sound of over 500 men singing together, and lunch provided on the day. We really hope to see you there.

Speaker: Al Stewart

Al is the author of The Manual, a book in which he aims to settle the question of what healthy, biblical masculinity looks like. Combining decades of experience as a son, husband, father, friend and pastor, in The Manual, Al sifts through the current debates and challenges facing men, offering practical wisdom, knowledge and biblical insight on how to live as a man valued by others and making a positive difference in the world.

Al’s down-to-earth, no-nonsense, honest approach to life will help any man, young or old, who wants to use his life for good.

Al Stewart lives in Sydney and serves as National Director of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). He and his wife, Kathy, have four adult children and three grandchildren. He has spent decades speaking with men about life and the difference Jesus makes.
